Jumping for joy!
In case you were wondering:
Shirt - Marshalls
Belt - Thrifted
Purple Tights - We Love Colors
Boots - Torrid
Yeah, I wore this to work and I was super comfortable. Thank you for asking.
Speaking of staying active (or even kicking up the activity quota) did you catch the premier of Curvy Girls on Nuvo TV?
I didn't either.
Not on purpose or anything! I had been hearing the rumors that the show was going to hit the airwaves sooner rather than later and then all of a sudden, when I'm catching up on Curves and Chaos, I read Monique Frausto's REVIEW OF THE EPISODE.
NOOOO! I missed it? How did I miss it??
I was going to panic over not catching another milestone for the CGs but thank goodness my cable company (a) offers the channel and (b) has a handy dandy DVR app so I could record a repeat airing earlier today.
What does this have to do with activity? One of the girls, Victoria to be exact, is on the prowl for a toned curvy body. (There's also the bit where she's completely self conscious about her boobs but it's justified. You have to watch her story!)
The other girls also talk about how being a plus model doesn't mean you get to just lounge around. You need to be active to keep up your energy for crazy long photo shoots (Denise and Rosie), to keep your weight on and your curves looking fly (Victoria) and to help make peace with yourself (Lorna).
I liked this message the girls sent out and turned to my favorite e-zine on the subject of a model worthy workout.
Of course they had loads of information but below are the links to my faves:
Long post, haven't done one of those in a while!
Please try to catch Curvy Girls on Nuvo TV if you have the channel and let me know what you think!
So Drama. So Outrageous. So Extra.
